Sweeper Parts Santa Clarita - The city of Santa Clarita is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County and the 26th biggest within California, with an approximate population of 180,000. Within the United States, Santa Clarita was recently named the the sixth safest place to live. This ranking was given by the FBI for cities more than 100,000 inhabitants. During the year 2006, Money Magazine ranked the city of Santa Clarita 18th in the top 100 places to reside. The city was incorporated during 1987 and combined the communities of Newhall, Saugus, Valencia and canyon County. Downtown Los Angeles is about thirty five kms southeast of Santa Clarita. When seen on a map Santa Clarita forms a distinctive triangle shape due to the intersection of the Antelope valley (SR-14) and Golden State (I-5).

The Enterprise Zone is comprised of the commercial and industrial areas within the northern and western parts of the city. It was zoned on the 1st of July, the year 2007 to provide tax incentives to companies who built there. Now, 97 percent of all business, industrial and commercial zoned land is situated within the Enterprise Zone. Some big businesses have chosen Santa Clarita as their base, such as Salt Creek Grilles, Condomman.com, True Position technologies and Trigg Laboratories.

The economy in Santa Clarita is mainly based off of the service business. Nearly 41% of all businesses are in the service sector. Retail holds about 21% of the economy, and the rest is divided equally between the finance, insurance, construction and real estate businesses.
